Parking:
Parking for the race will start in the main Hobgood Parking lot by the softball fields. Overflow parking will be available in the baseball parking lot off of Towne Lake Parkway. The race will start in the main parking lot

*Please note that if you park in the main Hobgood parking lot, that it is part of the race course. You will have to wait until all runners/walkers have come through that part of the race before you can move your car.  


Fees:

5K- Pre-Registration $25 / After February 8th  or on race day $30 
Fun Run- Pre-Registration $10 / After February 8th or on race day $15

****RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS CASH AND CHECK ONLY. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT CARDS!!!! 

Online Registration Dates:

Online registration begins Monday, November 5, 2018 as well as walk/mail in registration.
Online registration closes on Friday, February 16th, 2019 @ 5:00 PM. After the 16th, you must register in person at the Recreation Center or on race day.

*There will be a processing fee on all online and credit card transactions.

* To avoid the fee, you can register by coming into the Recreation Center to fill out a registration form or mailing a registration form and check to CRPA Attn: Lindsey Collett: 7545 Main Street Bldg 200 Woodstock, Ga 30188. Please make all checks out to CCBOC.

Race Packets: 

You can pick up your race packets at the Recreation Center on February 21st from 9am-7pm or 22nd from 9am-5pm or on race day starting at 7am. 

Brief Description

Together with the Cherokee County Fire Department (Hoses) and the County Sheriff’s Department (Guns),

Cherokee Recreation and Parks Agency will be hosting its 13th annual 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run. The purpose of the run is to raise money for charity causes selected by both groups. This year, the charity for CCFD will be The Goshen Valley Boys Ranch which is a non-profit home serving young men in the state foster care system. The charity for Cherokee Sheriff’s Office will be the Cherokee Sheriffs Foundation which is dedicated to helping families locally in Cherokee County. When registering, you will pick the team that you want to represent and a portion of your fee will go towards their chosen charity. Shirts will be made available in your race packet for all 5K participants only. (Shirt size selections will be guaranteed for those that register by February 8th ONLY). All 1 mile Fun Run participants will earn a commemorative medal. For the 5K race, awards will be given in both male and female divisions and in a variety of age groups as well. Additional Information

**Dogs and strollers are welcome but you must start behind all runners. All dogs must be on a leash. 

All 1 mile Fun Run participants will earn a commemorative medal. For the 5K race, awards will be given in both male and female divisions and in a variety of age groups as well. Registration begins on November 5th.
